WHAT ALL DOES THE IGNITION SWITCH CONTROL?MY SHIFTER WILL NOT MOVE NOW AND MY FUEL PUMP IS NOT GETTING POWER.?

in some situations, if not all, the computer controls the fuel pump, by using a relay. but the shifter can be a different problem like a shift interlock issue, with out knowing what kind of car you are dealing with i cannot answer your question. WHAT ALL DOES THE IGNITION SWITCH CONTROL?MY SHIFTER WILL NOT MOVE NOW AND MY FUEL PUMP IS NOT GETTING POWER.?
Does the car crank when you turn the key? Do any lights work, and if not, which ones? Fuel pump not running is kind o an obscure deep observation. Any other more apparent symptoms? Could just be a dead battery.
