Is insulin pump better solution for diabetes control.?

I was in injection then i decided to go on insulin pump really my life changed i am healthy and enjoying my life.Is insulin pump better solution for diabetes control.?
An insulin pump is so much better than shots.My son used to have to skip treats at school parties,but with the pump he can just add the insulin needed. It is one poke every 3 days instead of 6 a day. The best part is that he can have insulin trickle in all day as needed instead of just at shot times. It has been a blessing for us.Is insulin pump better solution for diabetes control.?
My son's glucose numbers have been soooo much better with the insulin pump! His quality of life is much improved. The pump allows so much flexability in what he eats and when he eats. He says he just feels better all around. A life changing device! The next step is he's getting the little sensor thing (I forget exactly what it's called at the moment) that goes along with his pump. He uses a Medtronic pump and it's been a good experience so far.
Yes but only if you are willing to test your sugars ALOT! Diabetics who go on pumps and are not willing to test often will usually have worse control than people using shots. Most pump users test 8+ times a day and adjust their basal rates and boluses based on what they are eating, how much exercise they are getting, stress in their lives, etc....It soun ds like you are doing well with the pump, keep it up! I bet you will see your A1C's go down as you get better at using it!
No. Better solution is to do regular exercise, diet and then medicinal control for your good health if u are a type 2 diabetic of 1st stage. If you start using insulin you will be a dependable person on it.
